Our Collections and Production Process
We embrace the philosophy of crafting each piece with intention, care, and creativity. Our commitment to quality and originality is reflected in every aspect of our collections and production process. We launch one collection each year, and two small capsules drops.
Where Fashion meets Art
Most of our print designs were created in collaboration with different female artists. Each print begins as a hand-drawn design that combines the brand’s & the artist's vision. These prints are then transferred to high-quality fabrics, preserving the intricate details and vibrant colors. Depending on the percentage of cotton found in different fabrics, you may notice small ink spots, we find them to be beautiful reminders that imperfections are part of handmade art, and constant growth.
On Demand Production and Responsible Practices
VQ is produced in limited quantities in Costa Rica. Our production takes place in workshops led by talented women, who bring their expertise and dedication to every garment. This approach not only guarantees the highest quality but also provides full traceability.
In our effort to challenge the traditional fashion calendar and reduce waste, 30% of VQ's production is on-demand. This approach allows us to minimize excess inventory, and promote a more responsible fashion industry.
